The event will be held on April 20th at 9:00 AM at a residential home located at 1385 S. Tenaya Way, Las Vegas, Nevada.
This innovative technology was installed by Bombard Renewable Energy – a division of Bombard Electric, LLC – one of the leading renewable energy installers in the U.S. with an installed base of more than 200 megawatts, encompassing residential, commercial, and utility customers.
At the ribbon cutting, JuiceBox Energy will demonstrate how its new residential energy storage technology enables Nevada’s solar customers to increase the use of self-supplied renewable energy and reduce their reliance on grid-tied energy consumption. Solar paired with the JuiceBox Energy Storage System allows homeowners to continue to install solar energy systems with reasonable payback time, while subscribing to new Time of Use (TOU) rates that will significantly reduce energy costs during off-peak hours. The system allows the homeowner to lower the number of solar panels required and is a more complete renewable energy solution than solar alone, ensuring that specific electrical loads are always powered regardless of grid availability.
Bombard Renewable Energy recently completed its first installation of the JuiceBox Energy Storage Solution that includes dual 8.6kWh JuiceBox Energy Storage Systems for 17.2kWh total capacity, and an 11kW solar array. The grid-tied installation, located in NV Energy’s territory, is designed to reduce the amount of energy drawn from the grid and increase the consumption of on-site energy produced by the solar PV panels.
