New York Power Authority – Great Lakes Offshore Wind Project

NYPA has announced a major step forward on its Great Lakes Offshore Project. On December 1, President Richard Kessel released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the development of utility scale (120 MW to 500 MW) generating projects in New York State waters of Lake Erie and/or Lake Ontario.

The release of the RFP followed several months of outreach to community and business leaders, local and state officials, environmentalists and the general public, whose feedback was incorporated into the document. NYPA had announced the major public-private initiative for the potential development of power projects in the New York State waters of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario in April.

  1. New York is one of the best places I've ever been and most of all I enjoyed staying at New York NY Hotels. I really think people should invest more into this awesome city.
