ClearEdge Power joins forces with Audi and former 49er Jerry Rice to raise money for Bay Area charities
HILLSBORO, Ore. – April 12, 2011 – This week amateur golfers across the Bay Area will partner with professional athletes and celebrities in an effort to raise $250,000 for area charities at the PGA Tour’s Fresh Express Classic™ in Hayward, Calif. ClearEdge Power joins Tournament Host and Professional Football Hall of Fame Member Jerry Rice in lending its support to the sold-out Charity Pro-Am.
In addition to supporting area charities, the Fresh Express Classic at TPC Stonebrae is part of the 2011 Nationwide Tour. The top 25 performers of the Nationwide Tour are able to advance to the PGA Tour. Fans who are unable to attend in person can tune in live on the Golf Channel, which will air all four rounds of the tournament.
