Alternative Energy HQ solar power for homes, wind energy, and bio fuel issues
I have several small business interests that require marketing materials,posters, and brochures. I just have to shout out about the fact that I am able to get my printing needs handled and the company does it using green printing techniques to boot.
PsPrint has been my local printing fav for a couple years now. They use soy inks instead of petroleum based inks which is good for the environment. The soy inks emit fewer VOCs (volatile organic compounds). They also do a great job of recycling their paper waste at the printing plant. When I order my print jobs I am offered the chance to select from 100% recycled paper stock which I appreciate. Now there are some jobs I get printed which I cannot use this option but in general I am able to on most occasions.
I have done my catalog printing, poster printing, business cards, brochures and more at PSPrint. They have plants around the country but for me the local one in Oakland means I can drive over an pick up my jobs from their plant. It is cool to take care of basic business stuff and get it done by an eco friendly company. I am not sure how wide spread this is in the printing business but I would bet more companies will follow their lead in years to come.
